Quantum Bearing Science was founded by long time skaters – Brad Sasser and Jason Hammock.
They decided to take their experience from years of working in respective fields to help create a better bearing and gave something back to skateboarding. A lower maintenance bearing where you don’t have to stress taking a shielded bearing out to lube it. Bearings designed for longevity by only using high quality, field tested materials. Bearings compensated at the nano-level for consistency and response.
The love of skateboarding pushes Quantum to make highest quality, lowest maintenance and most affordable bearings for skaters of all skill levels. And even beyond that, they give at least 10 percentage of their profit to skate community.
They have created 2-D meta-material structures designed to enhance the performance and longevity of skateboard bearings. A world’s first for skateboard bearings! Quantum bearings utilize their design which incorporates considerations for MECNC (Matrix Enhanced Ceramic Nano-Composites) and their coating processes. Besides optimizing the performance of the bearings, they have also minimized their impact for the environment by using only environmentally friendly coating processes and materials. Also over 95% of their process stream are recycled.
Isotopes are super fast bearings designed to be strong and durable. Suitable to park and street skateboarding. Those ceramic skateboard bearings have ZrO2 ceramic balls, high quality carbon steel inner/outer rings and high tensile strength retainers.
