W8.5″/WB14.2″ HIGH – TWIN TIP- SLICK – TIP REINFORCED – 4-PLY LIGHT

4-ply construction was developed to minimize the weight and to maximize pop. 4-ply board constructions have the highest fiber to wood ratio, which mean that these boards have the best pop we have developed. These boards were initially designed for smooth surfaces, such as concrete and wooden skateparks, pools, ramps, etc. TIP REINFORCEMENTS were introduced to 4-ply boards to increase the life of these boards. They make this skateboard much more wear resistant than typical fiber reinforced skateboards in the market.

TIP REINFORCEMENTS are composed of Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene (UHMWPE). UHMWPE is a high performance plastic, which is one of the most wear resistant plastics ever developed. Typical applications of UHMWPE include e.g. wear surfaces on total hip and knee replacements.

4-PLY SKATEBOARD CONSTRUCTION:

• UHMWPE tip reinforcements (on nose and tail)
• 4 plys of premium Canadian maple
• 3 glass fiber layers
• 2 carbon fiber layers
• GROOVED slick bottom (that means more stability on lip tricks, but the board still slides sooooooo well)

This skateboard deck is HAND MADE  in Tampere Finland.
